LIBERTY SELECTION POLICY FROM 2012

"Hertfordshire Indoor Bowls is changing the selection process for 2012/13 and future years. A new policy will allow selectors to consider all competitive players in Hertfordshire to represent the county in Liberty Trophy matches and Home Counties Matches. To allow the selectors a chance to consider those players fairly it has introduced a new policy that:-

 "All players wishing to be considered for selection for the Liberty Trophy in 2012 and future years should make themselves available for all Home Counties matches from 2011/12 season onwards. It is important to state that not all  of the 2011/12 Liberty Trophy players will be expected to play in all of these matches as current rules will only allow 12 players in any one match but it will give the selectors a chance to seriously consider many players and playing positions and can only be beneficial to all. Where possible selectors will consider difficulties on a particular date depending on the circumstances."
